Active Recovery Moray is a collaborative project between Moray Community Sport Hubs, Elgin Sports Community Trust, Police Scotland, Arrows, and Boundless Trails. Together, we aim to provide free, inclusive sporting opportunities for individuals facing mental health challenges.

Boundless Trails is proud to deliver the mountain biking sessions for this initiative, with valuable support from Elgin Sports Community Trust.

These sessions are completely free to access and open to everyone, regardless of experience or ability. Whether you’re new to biking or haven’t ridden in years, you’re welcomed.

We meet every Monday at the Gleaner Arena in Elgin for a relaxed coffee and chat at 10am, followed by a ride starting at 10.30am. Most of our sessions take place at the beautiful Oakwoods trails, offering a safe and supportive environment for recovery, connection, and wellbeing. In addition, every 6 weeks, we run longer Sunday rides — giving participants the chance to explore further afield, build confidence, and challenge themselves in a safe, supported setting.
